Hanna Theatre is one of five original venues at Playhouse Square, one of the largest performing arts center outside of New York City. Built in 1921, the Italian Renaissance-inspired theatre underwent renovation in 2007 after being closed to the public for almost two decades. The renovation included a complete replacement of the 1920’s rigging system and the new JR Clancy automated system was installed prior to the re-opening of the theatre in September 2008.
