Atwood Concert Hall, Alaska Center for the Performing Arts

Anchorage, Alaska

Project Description:

With more than 2,000 seats, the Atwood Concert Hall is the largest venue in the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts. In 2014, the dramatically designed space received a visual and sonic upgrade with a custom designed Wenger Diva® full-stage acoustical shell and ceilings. Each year Atwood Concert Hall showcases a wide variety of performances ranging from symphonic and chamber to dance and Broadway musicals. When the acoustical shells and ceilings are not in use, the ceilings are tilted and lifted vertically into the sky loft above the stage using a JR Clancy SceneControl® 5100.
