In the fall of 2004, Jazz at Lincoln Center debuted its new 100,000-square-foot facility dedicated to jazz performances. JR Clancy worked closely with Artec Consultants, Inc. and Rafael Vinoly Architects to achieve a new rigging system for the facility. To achieve a functional, yet multi-purpose space, 73 manual counterweight line sets and grand drape and rigging were installed. An adjustable proscenium system and retractable concert ceiling were provided to achieve space versatility.
