Place Bell is a multifunctional complex that hosts a wide variety of cultural and sporting events throughout the year. Transforming the space to a performance venue from a NHL-standard skating rink can be difficult, however, J.R. Clancy teamed up with Niscon to provide an upgrade to Centre Bell’s control systems and related rigging, motors and hoists to help the team at Place Bell. The 2016 upgrade included a custom scoreboard hoist by J.R. Clancy and a SceneControl® 5200 to control the installed hoists.
